Candidate for President

Abigail Lee is the Executive Director of Healing Hearts Centre, and the current President of both the Association of Christian Counsellors (Singapore) and the Association for Play Therapy (Singapore). She was conferred the May Day Awards - Working People’s Advocate Award by the National Trades Union Congress in May 2018.

With close to 15 years of experience as a counsellor, play therapist, supervisor and trainer, Abigail works with children, adolescents, individuals and families who have experienced trauma, abuse and anxiety issues. She is a Certified Circle of Security Facilitator with Circle of Security International and a Certified TraumaPlay therapist and supervisor. In addition, she is appointed by the Family Justice Courts as a Parenting Coordinator and by the Singapore Mediation Centre as a Collaborative Family Practice Counsellor to work with families undergoing separation and divorce.


Candidate for Vice-President

Koh Ai Jin is Counsellor with Barker Road Methodist Church. Her ministry focus include integration of faith & counselling, inner healing & recovery work, marital & family counselling, parent education, counsellor training and supervision.

Ai Jin holds a Masters in Counselling, is a certified instructor for TJTA and Prepare-Enrich, SAC registered Master Clinical Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor. Since her foray into counselling from 1998, she has received training in various psychotherapy modalities and has acquired extensive clinical experience. Her involvement in church ministries since 1995 is also wide-ranging. Prior to counselling, Ai Jin spent several years as a polytechnic lecturer.

She is married to a Methodist pastor and is a mother of three children, ages 16, 14 & 11.


Candidate for Honorary Secretary

Petrina Tan is the Senior Chaplain at St. Luke’s Eldercare Ltd, providing pastoral care and counselling services and works closely with both Churches and para-Church Organizations for ministry collaborations.

Prior to her career as a Senior Chaplain, she spent 15 years as a banker, a decade as a stay-at-home mom whilst studying part-time for her theological degree, 7 years as a parish worker and subsequently a pastor in her local church, with the pastoral, ladies', cell, and hospitality ministries under her care. She holds a Master of Arts in Counseling. 


Candidate for Assistant Secretary

With a Master of Social Science (Professional Counselling), Jaime has been working in a cancer centre since 2016, journeying with and supporting people with cancer and their families. She also conducts talks and trainings, and writes occasionally for various publications on issues relating to the care of people with cancer.

Jaime has a degree in communications and new media. Prior to counselling, she has worked in editorial roles in various organisations including government agencies and voluntary welfare organisations. She has also volunteered with Christian and secular organisations to work on book projects.


Candidate for Honorary Treasurer

Jane Toh is part of the pastoral team in her local church community and has served in various church boards. She received counselling and pastoral care training from CWR, Asia, the international Christian training and resourcing ministry of CWR, UK and since 2015, joined the CWR, Asia training team which facilitates its counselling courses in Singapore. She has been in the financial services industry for more than 20 years.


Candidate for Assistant Treasurer

Nga Woon had her counselling training with CWR, Asia, the international Christian training and resourcing ministry of CWR, UK.  She serves as a lay counsellor with a local Church. She is passionate in people helping ministries as she believes that her own life experiences have equipped her to be used by God to encourage and journey with people facing various challenges in life. Currently, Nga Woon is a Vice-Principal (Administration) with the Ministry of Education.


Candidate for Committee Member

Benjamin Wong Yew Fei graduated in 1996 from TCA College with a BA in Pastoral Ministries. In 1997, together with his wife Tricia, they served as missionaries in Macau. They pioneer a local church there and provided leadership and pastoral oversight to Teen Challenge Macau, an International Christian Drug Rehabilitation Centre.  Upon returning to Singapore in 2001, he served in Trinity Christian Centre as a small group ministry pastor. While serving there, he graduated from TCA College with a MA in Intercultural Studies in 2009.  In the year following, he served as a family life and community pastor in Grace Assembly of God.  While there, he pioneered the inner healing and deliverance ministry.

In 2015, he completed his MA in clinical counseling with TCA College and started serving as a pastoral counselor. He and Tricia have 2 young adult sons.


Candidate for Committee Member

Dr. Joyce Chan is a Master Clinical Member and Registered Clinical Supervisor with Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC). She is a Registered Social Service Practitioner with Singapore Social Work Association (SASW) and an Associate Licensed Minister with The Assemblies of God of Singapore. Dr. Joyce has over 20 years of experience working in the social and public sector; directly with clients and at management level. Currently she is with Singapore Prison Service. She oversees a team supervising Reformative Trainees who are released into the community.

She started her ministry as a Youth Counsellor with Teen Challenge Singapore. Subsequently, she assumed the role as a Youth Director, followed by the Executive Director from 2010 to 2014. Besides her full-time work, she has been serving as adjunct lecturer and clinical supervisor with schools offering Post-graduate diploma and Master programmes.


Candidate for Committee Member

Adeline Wong was a full-time church worker for about 4 years before she responded to God’s mission call to Prison Ministry in 2012.  As the Integrated Ministry Lead at the largest Christian prison ministry organisation in Singapore, she provides the strategic ministry leadership to the team of ministry staff & 800+ volunteers reaching out to over 1,200 prisoners, ex-offenders & their family members.

Adeline obtained a Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies from TCA College, completed the ACE Capstone Leadership Programme for Non-Profits (Aalto University, Centre for Non-Profit Leadership & LIEN Centre for Social Innovation) and is currently pursuing her certification in Animal Assisted Psychotherapy (CAAP), with her completion of AAP skills-based training in Australia.  She is also a co-opted member of Parochial Church Council in her church.


Candidate for Committee Member

Mollie has a Masters in Social Science (Professional Counselling) from an Australian University.

She volunteers with social organisations, working with people undergoing treatment for HIV, mental disorders and palliative care, providing 'Harp-for-Healing' to residents at IMH, nursing homes and community hospitals. She leads caring & sharing team, senior members fellowship at her local church.

She held a Diploma from Rhema Bible Training School Singapore. Received training as a “Channel of Hope’ facilitator by Aidslink International in 2010, in “Bible-based trauma healing & equipping” in 2016 and certification in Grief Recovery method.


Appointment as Honorary Internal Auditor

Julia is a forensic psychologist in private practice. She also lectures on topics of impulse control disorders, behavioural addictions and forensic psychology. She provides forensic psychological assessment and reports on medico-legal issues relating to criminal, civil and family matters for Court purposes. A scientist-practitioner, she has worked in universities, hospitals, prisons and correction services, gambling treatment facilities and private clinics.

She enjoys needlework (blackwork in particular) and catching up with friends over a yummy meal and a hot mug of chai tea latte.
