Code of Ethics
& Ethical Procedures
All ACCS members are committed to adhere to the ACCS Code of Ethics, regardless of their level of counselling training and membership category. The ACCS Ethics Board is responsible for processing reports of alleged violations of the ACCS Code of Ethics. Approved in 2025, the ACCS’s Ethical Procedures was developed to provide attending to, processing and resolution of ethical cases against active ACCS members.
Reports may be submitted by members of the public who have utilised counselling services provided by an active ACCS member. The ACCS Ethics Board does not have jurisdiction to address complaints against individuals who are not members of our association.
Please review our Ethical Procedures for a comprehensive understanding of our resolution process before you fill up the case submission form.
