Asian Christian Counseling Leadership Series in the Pandemic Era # 7

ACCA is pleased to invite you to register for our monthly webinar on Asian Christian Counseling Leadership Series in the Pandemic Era # 7 to be held on 27 Feb 2021 (the last Saturday of each month) at 11.00 am (Malaysia time).

As the Covid-19 pandemic has brought about drastic changes to every aspect of life, the objective of the series is to utilize this uncertain time of flux as a window of opportunity for us to explore and shape the unique direction of Christian counseling in Asia so that we are intentionally Kingdom-minded and missional in our teaching, practice and ministry.

In this respect, the vision and mission of ACCA is to promote and realize Christian counseling throughout Asia not just as a clinical practice but also a ministry to the community, integrating psychology, theology, spirituality and missions, to manifest spiritual and professional maturity in what we do.

The ACCA hour-long Webinar on Leadership Series # 7 is entitled Our Christian Counseling Response to the Covid Pandemic in Ethics, Practice and Resilience. The topics to be covered include the following:

a)    Ethics: the 7 ethical assumptions that impact us personally.

b) Practice: the Review, Refresh, & Reset principles of personal development to adjust your practice around the changing environment.

c)    Resilience: the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of self that must be intentionally attended to.

Curriculum Vitae of the Speaker:

Rev. Sam Kuna is an Associate Professor with TCA College, Singapore, and the Dean of its School of Counseling.
